So, say you have 5 forums.. and you have a general "mail@myforum.com". Looks like I'm in for a expensive ride without cPanel on each right?

These smaller sites do not justify a paid cost at this time.

Hey guys as mentioned I'm using mxroute.
In a Php web form I should include provider details right?
One odd thing is that when I solely put a yahoo address it would work(but emails would arrive from nginx@domain.com).
Gmail won't work and mx neither.

    Regards

Zoho is a great free service.
Too bad Gmail for business isn't as cheap as it used to be...they have the best interface.

Check out Zoho it's free or MXRoute maybe this promo still works https://billing.mxroute.com/announcements.php?id=81 ??

Or for smaller sites utilise your domain registrar's free email forwarding if they provide it i.e. @domain.com forward to user@myforumdomain.com

maybe start a dedicated thread for your question ?

Yup Zoho or just get one Gmail Business account Gsuite and then add domains as domain aliases (see 1st post of this thread). So primary domain = domain.com and if you add Gsuit user1@domain.com. Then add domain aliases like domain2.com and domain3.com, so that user1@domain.com and user1@domain3.com all go to same account for user1@domain.com primary domain. You pay for 1 account but get to use it for 3 domains to same user domain alias. If you have 100s of domains, that actually might be easier as you check the one account instead of having 100s of user/passes to manage :)

Hmm...didn't think of that. Thanks for the tips :)
Yes I agree it would be easier to manage multiple domain email accounts that way.

    Per user.
But why OVH @ 5.99 month.

With Microsoft Office 365 Business Essentials you could add as much domains as you want.
You could send mail via one domain or multiple with the imap trick (Send as an alias).
Microsoft Office 365 Business Essentials is $ 5 month and overall the better choice if you ask me.

Indeed both MS Office 365 and Google App for Business/Gsuite would be better value :)

I get confused when they charge $5 per account. What does it mean? If you can add as much domains as you want why they specify it's per account?

    1x domain.com can have 3 user accounts user1 @domain.com, user2 @domain.com and user3 @domain.com so 3x 5 = $15/month

if alias is like Google App/Gsuite you can have domain aliases - see 1st post of this thread
so domain.com and domain2.com is domain alias to domain.com so that user1 @domain.com and user1 @domain2.com is considered 1 user account and not 2 because both users go to same inbox for primary user1 @domain.com
