    Ah, I was wondering how you were doing these. You're using this $35 addon? Weekly newsletter

    I found a free one What's New Digest.

    Looking at the built-in Xenforo option "Enable activity summary email", I'm wondering if that would conflict with this, and if the easiest thing (and virtually equivalent?) would be to just lower the "Start sending summary email when user has been inactive for" from 14 days to 1 day?

    And change "Send summary email while user is inactive every" from 14 to 7.

    Hmm, I guess it's not the same because the latter only works if the user is inactive. I guess it would be best to disable the "inactive user summary" and replace it with the weekly digest.

    For XF 2.x yes that one is recommended

    You'd have to dial in your configured inactive days to not conflict if you want to use both. But depends on your forum members, if they are once off posts never to return, inactive summary would just increase the chances your emails are marked by those users as spam as they'd be too lazy to unsubscribe the proper way. On the other hand emailing active users, is more likely they are return users who value your forum emails and less likely to mark your emails as spam and/or more likely to unsubscribe the proper way.

    Eva, you customized something to make yours smaller/more narrow?

    Is it the `whatsnewdigest_email_macros` -> `<table cellpadding="10" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%"` -> change `width` to something smaller? Wouldn't that be problematic on mobile?
