Flyingproxy.com just released their public beta! I was fortunate to be one of the 300 to be able to signup and test it. I works good! Fully based on Cloudflare Enterprise! All the same benefits at a fraction of the cost!

No need to pay for CF Pro or any of the other ones! I turned CF off om my account, Added FlyingProxy and it made a drastic difference in loading times, TTFB

If you are able to signup for the public beta, you may want to. it's well worth it!

Interesting thanks for heads up. Technically it shouldn't be 100% Cloudflare Enterprise, probably more like they're using Cloudflare Enterprise plan with CF For SaaS https://www.cloudflare.com/saas/. It's close feature wise but CF For SaaS do have limitations compared to actual CF Plan.

    See https://developers.cloudflare.com/ssl/ssl-for-saas/

Cloudflare For SaaS is available for all CF Plans too https://blog.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-for-saas/, I tried it on centminmod.com to cover a non-centminmod.com domain and provide it with my Cloudflare Enterprise plan features :)

Well shit, I thought I found something.. You busted my bubble! haha!
I didn't even think about CF for SaaS Nothing on their site says anything about WAF, firewall, page rules.

Only thing I hate about Cloudflare free and pro is it caches the backend of WordPress. Only way not to is to get Business or enterprise. Have you come across anything that wouldn't enable cloudflare to cache wp admin without selling my first born child?

Cloudflare Automatic Platform Optimization (APO) for Wordpress would do that https://developers.cloudflare.com/automatic-platform-optimization/. CF APO has grown up a lot since I last tested it https://community.centminmod.com/th...plugin-automatic-platform-optimization.20486/ but I still prefer my own solution using custom Cloudflare Worker based guest full HTML page caching. Both APO and my own solution don't cache admin side requests.

But yes, in the past only way you'd get full HTML page caching was with bypass on cookie page rules from Cloudflare Business or higher plans https://blog.cloudflare.com/caching-anonymous-page-views/. Now you can do it via your own Cloudflare Workers or use Cloudflare APO for Wordpress which is essentially also using CF Workers for full HTML page caching.

I use Cloudflare guest full HTML page cache for both this forum itself and my Wordpress blog at Centmin Mod Blog - but I am using a full regular Cloudflare Enterprise plan :D

They wont say yet but if you signup during the public beta, you'll stay at the $10 per site price no matter what the final price will be.

Unfortunately, for me with Flyingproxy you'd loose out on finer grain CF Page/Firewall/Transform/WAF rule control that you can have with CF Pro and higher plans. Giving that up for CF Enterprise like CDN performance doesn't balance out for me.

True but for the common user that don't know how to setup CF properly, this is an easy way to get good performance utilizing the CF enterprise that's pre configured for WordPress

Now that we are on the subject of CF, can you give an example of setting up CF Pro to NOT cache the WP dashboard? I have tried everything with no success. Flyproxy doesn't cache the backend because they have it setup with the cookie so for $10/mo that has "most" CF Enterprise configurations including WAF - I'm good with it.

They worked with the Cloudflare team to get the best results for page rules and WAF so even though, you can't fiddle with them settings, I'm ok with that.

The mentioned plugin at https://community.centminmod.com/th...are-enterprise-for-everyone.22740/#post-92822 doesn't work for you? It should allow CF free and Pro plans to cache Wordpress dynamic HTML pages with similar cookie bypass. Even Cloudflare Automatic Platform Optimization APO for Wordpress should too.

The other option that works on all Cloudflare plans - free, pro, biz and enterprise, is to write your own Cloudflare Worker based cache with cookie bypass. That's what I have done for this forum running Xenforo and for my Wordpress blogs. But I have it fall back to Cloudflare bypass cache on cookie page rule too for Cloudflare Business or higher plans if there are errors in Cloudflare Worker.

I had CF Pro with APO and even used the Cloudflare H2 server push and I still get about 90 to 100ms faster page loads and TTFB using flyproxy

I tried the plugin but it has a few bug issues they haven't seem to work out yet. I haven't checked in awhile on the FB group page though so they may be fixed now. I'll check later

How are you testing TTFB? Still it's expected due to Cloudflare Enterprise's prioritized IPs and peering arrangements globally. Really depends on if you're okay giving up some control over Cloudflare Firewall/WAF/Page/Transform rules which you can tailor for your specific web apps.

Cloudflare Cache Reserve feature might allow more cached assets to stay cached and help https://community.centminmod.com/th...022-cache-reserve-r2-s3-object-storage.22756/

Is that first runs or after a few runs to warm up cache? As some of the TTFBs seem high for Cloudlare Enterprise CDN >500ms
