    that's restart of server i.e. reboot not service restart

    The cause of the problem is right in the error log itself
    your failed to stop MariaDB MySQL server so it's still running but still managed to start up a 2nd MySQL server process so they're conflicting. Ensure you stop the 2nd or subsequent MySQL processes and then find out why original process isn't properly being stopped and stop it before starting again.

    Ah re-read Sunka's post yeah but there's many reasons why restart a service doesn't work especially MariaDB. More active your mysql server is, the longer a mysql restart takes usually and also improper mysql restarts or server reboots can have a cascading effect on subsequent restarts/reboots too due to how InnoDB auto recovery works.

    I rebooted the server itslef, but still same error when I do mysqlrestart.
    :confused:

    so tried mysql restart service now and it works ? be sure you're looking at current timestamp for mysql errors as they could be previous logged errors

    improper reboot during MySQL activity can cause problems due to how InnoDB auto recovery works too

    not to say you experienced a MySQL server crash though

    but blindly rebooting server for MySQL issues can lead to further MySQL data issues further down the road

    If you still have issues with restarting and that error, then probably need to hire someone to professionally look into the root cause :)
