Seems like that directory was not found:
    Code:
    ls -lah /svr-setup/redis2-nginx-module-0.15/
ls: cannot access /svr-setup/redis2-nginx-module-0.15/: No such file or directory

strange if the tar.gz file exists and directory for extracted tar gz doesn't, then centmin mod will automatically untar/ungzip so the directory exists.

seems it didn't in your case which is strange that your server setup has managed to bypass all the automated/anticipated scenarios and workaround routines I coded Centmin Mod to take care of LOL

you can try manually untar/ungzip the file (though Centmin Mod should be doing that for you)
    Code (Text):
    cd /svr-setup
    tar xzvf redis2-nginx-module_v0.15.tar.gz

I manually untar that file and re-ran option 4, saw that the error reporting is showing similar thing for
    set-misc-nginx-module_v0.32.tar.gz, so I ran
    Code:
    tar xzvg -v set-misc-nginx-module_v0.32.tar.gz

But there's nothing showing up, there's no response at all, somehow the untar just stucks. I tried adding a -v verbose flag but doesn't seem to work as well. Do you happen to know what is happening?

you ran command in /svr-setup directory where the tar.gz is ?

command is tar xzvf - f not g

    Code (Text):
    cd /svr-setup
    tar xzvf redis2-nginx-module_v0.15.tar.gz
    tar xzvf set-misc-nginx-module_v0.32.tar.gz

for centos 6, what is output for
    Code (Text):
    which tar

    Code (Text):
    /bin/tar --version

    Code (Text):
    yum list tar -q | tr -s ' ' | column -t

    i.e.
    Code (Text):
    which tar
    /bin/tar

    Code (Text):
    /bin/tar --version
    tar (GNU tar) 1.23

Double check that you're running centmin.sh as full root user and not a sudo user with elevated privileges as well.

My bad I was using the wrong tar command.

Managed to untar successfully with tar xzvf and I managed to upgrade nginx :)

Do we need to find out what the root cause is?

Glad to hear it upgraded. Hard to figure out root cause as Centmin Mod 123.09beta01 is coded to anticipate most of the issues you ran into and automatically work around them. I tested on both CentOS 6 and 7 and they work even tried manually deleting tar.gz and/or untarred directories to simulate your issue - on centmin.sh menu option 4 runs, it correctly redownloads and extracts the missing .tar.gz or untarred directories.

wonder if you have any persistent config settings in /etc/centminmod/custom_config.inc which may conflict ?
    output for
    Code (Text):
    cat /etc/centminmod/custom_config.inc

there's ya problem you set in persistent config file NGINX_OPENRESTY='n' - that will prevent openresty based nginx modules like set-misc and redis2 nginx module from download/installing !
