    Hello :)

I just try to install on a vps latest Centminmod and set the hostname using:
and asfter reboot i found a related entry at:
    But i can't save it as HOSTNAME="server.demo-domain.tech" :(

It always revert to main domain :(

I am trying to set to:
and after reboot i am getting:
    :(

That is causing also issues with adding the domain from Centminmod as it is conflicting with the hostname :(

It looks like a network manager issue and DHCP apply changes but don't know how to disable it or to fix in general :(

Getting Started Guide step 1 outlines how to properly set hostname for server in CentOS 7. If that doesn't work then yes your web host's control panel i.e. solusvm might be the problem as some folks report the solusvm forces a particular value i.e. value when you ordered the vps and specified hostname at order time.
