I normaly don't look at the home dir, but today I had to change something manual.

And I found 2 new users that arises some questions. I did not create them, and I do receive emais when someone logins, does someting on my servers.

@eva2000 Did you do something on 6 december. In the Netherlands they do on 5 december, for the kids, he comes with a boat from Spain, and delivers present. Has some black persons if the kids behave badly in the last year and takes them to Spain to learn them a lesson. Sometimes he stays some days longer, because to deliver all these presents he needs some time

But I found this in the home dir. Maybe it was me that gave a free present, but I don't know beamium nor noderig.

    Code (Text):
    ls -lha
    total 36K
    drwxr-xr-x. 9 root root 4.0K Jan 2 11:44 .
    dr-xr-xr-x. 18 root root 4.0K Jan 2 06:57 ..
    drwxr-xr-x. 15 root root 4.0K Dec 17 13:04 acmesh-backups
    drwx------. 2 beamium beamium 4.0K Dec 6 23:36 beamium
    drwx------. 19 root root 4.0K Jan 1 20:51 .ccache
    drwxr-xr-x. 12 root root 4.0K Dec 16 07:54 fastcgicache_wp
    drwxrwxrwt. 2 mysql mysql 4.0K Jan 2 23:47 mysqltmp
    drwx--S---. 4 nginx nginx 4.0K Dec 7 00:41 nginx
    drwx------. 2 noderig noderig 4.0K Dec 6 23:36 noderig

Maybe it was St. Claus see below: Tradition in the Netherlands

noderig and beamium are NOT Centmin Mod created directories. You'd have to figure out what a happened there. For future troubleshooting and analysis you can install Centmin Mod addons/auditd.sh https://community.centminmod.com/th...td-support-added-in-latest-123-09beta01.9071/ which allows you to log all commands, processes on the system and with some custom auditd rules you can track and file/directory creation back to users/date/time if you understand auditd logging. Auditd is provided as is so learning how to understand auditd logs is up to you. However, thread has links to documentation and examples to get you started.

Doing quick google search for noderig and beamium, they both seem to be OVH github listed projects for Prometheus metrics related project.

I also had these 2 users/folders when I had a server from Kimsufi.

Just looked at the site of KimSufi, and it is OVH . On the page, on the top right near the globe is a link to OVH.

Guess you can delete these users/folders?

Exactly, OVH, Kimsufi and SoYouStart are the same company (I think) and that's why I had these users/folders at by box, for the reason as @eva2000 mentioned.

I'd never tried to delete these when I had from Kimsufi, for the reason, that, every time I made a OS reinstall and CentminMod installation, every time these users/folders created, as you have. Now, I'm on another provider without these and..... I'm free lol

If I can remember clearly, it was CentOS 7, without custom/stock OVH's kernel (by clicking a box)? It has been a long time but I'm sure these 2 users/folders they were always in my home folder after the reinstall.

These users / directories have always been on my OVH servers (which were provisioned back in July).
