Wordpress 'Disable XML-RPC plugin' installed with Centmin 22 has been abandoned.

    Disable XML-RPC

    While it probably still works, it might not be a bad idea to switch it out for one that's being actively checked on.

    Thanks @fly for the heads up :)

    Seems like the alternative you suggested Disable XML-RPC-API has alot more options but not sure if these options can be configured on SSH command line i.e. via WP CLI tool so as to automate it's setup. The old plugin has just install and activate via WP CLI so easy to automate.

    Yeah, the old one might totally be fine, but I'm starting to see warnings about it in the dashboard.

    FWIW, the one I posted was just install and activate as well. Default settings work perfectly.
