Wordpress Disable wordpress auto updates ?

where can I disable the auto-update of plugins/themes?

there was a recent woocommerce update that was incompatible with the theme and other plugins

-so what is the best practice for the auto-update to prevent such incompatibilities, Shall I disable it altogether to prevent such incident?

edit wp-config.php see http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/wordpress-features/enable-disable-wp-updates

and comment out wp updater in cronjob setup by centmin.sh menu option 22

only temp disable until fix is available

from what I understand, this affects the wordpress version.

does it also disable the autoupdate of the plugins?
