Centminmod stack preventing the ssh shell from loading immediately

    Hello, something happened in these days. I could always load the ssh shell in a while, today my site is serving images very late. (already flushed redis cache and verified that nginx is not under attack through nginx_status, normal numbers of requests), the vps node results fine too. So i noticed that it takes more than 10 sec before getting the ssh prompt. The machine has something wrong, any ideas? I have another vps that hosts the international site version (exactly same specs and config of the first one, even the site platform is same, just the language is english there) and the shell answers promptly. Thank you.

    Is centmin looking for updates everytime i log in ssh?

    yes centmin.sh shell menu looks for yum and nginx updates for notification in 123.09beta01

    yum probably slow from your problematic test server

    i might add some optional diagnostic logging to those automatic checks so you can troubleshoot :)

    I've noticed this too. Like 3 to 5 second delay.

    I wish it displays what it was doing/checking though.
