there are some files error pages .html on public by default
    403.html 404.html 500.html 502.html 503.html 504.html 50x.html maintenance.html
i think placed them on public folder is not tidy
i hope you move them to one folder like /error/ or place them on folder outsite public folder

Thanks for suggestions, but it's better to have them in root for ease of reference. You're free to move them, just note that the maintenance.html file is actually going to be used for sitestatus maintenance 503 feature in 123.09beta01 see Beta Branch - sitestatus maintenance mode | Centmin Mod Community so expects that a /maintenance.html file exists

That's up to you as most folks what them to match their own site layout and designs :)

FYI the error pages aren't enabled by default unless you uncomment the errorpage.conf include line in your nginx site vhost domain.com.conf file and restart nginx server
