    DDOS protection has layer 3, 4 and 7 etc. DDOS protected enabled on all is for layer 3, 4 and volumetric attacks. Layer 7 application level will require CF WAF, Firewall rules, CF rate limiting, Argo Tunnels etc to protect you as it is dependent on web application you run so dependent on many factors of end user's web app and how it operates. Hence, why some folks run into issues with CF WAF false positive blocks on web application level requiring tuning CF WAF rules for your specific web app.

    There is no such thing as 100% automatic DDOS protection at layer 7 application level. You can get close to 95-99% but not 100%.

    Anyone using firewall DDOS/DOS filtering at the host domain DNS server combined with CS, ConfigServer DNOS instead of CloudFare or other cloud edge server?

    I decided to cancel this server next 2 weeks as they have a very poor network performance for APAC.
    And the dashboard is very slow also :/

    How bad is network performance to APAC ? You're in their LA datacenter right ? Worse than OVH Canada ?

    Strange. I'm not finding their dashboard slow from Australia for my paid work clients who have servers at Hivelocity.

    OVH CA might have high latency but fewer hops and no timeout in all our ISP.

    Their LA network to some of our Local ISP suffer some timeout that their network engineer can't solve.
    They lack direct peering and just rely on other external peering to APAC.

    I see thanks that info. Most of Hivelocity clients are in their Tampa datacenter so no experience with their LA datacenter. Would of thought their LA network would be better.

    Whatever happened with your OVH Singapore experience ?

    Off all the server I tried OVH SGP is the BEST for my APAC usage.

    They have direct peering for every ISP in my Country. And that alone is superb :)

    I already moved back since late September :).
    And since then no timeout error reports from users or slow loading page :).

    oh if you had that set in nginx.conf for global use ? cause http2.domain.com nginx vhost that is temp created wouldn't have such limits set.
