So basically I've been trying to setup a forum and installed centminmod on my njalla vps (centos 7 64 bit) and within half hour when my connection dropped somehow. It locked my vps literally and i could not ssh via any vpn or even my home ip which is static.

Njalla doesn't offers KVM access or such thing so I had to reset vps and reintall centminmod and it happend once again while trying to disable csf.

So I would like to know what options do i have? Because I would like to use centmindmod but csf is not letting me use it at all. XD

What type of VPS virtualization is used ? See official Centmin Mod install guides recommendations for VPS virtualization types and VPS web hosts at https://centminmod.com/install.html and wouldn't work with NAT based VPSes where you don't get your own public IP for your VPS.

I don't know why I was under such impression that njal.la is using KVM but no.. Just found that they are using LXD. I'm not sure what to do in this situation and as for public ip, It has a public ip.

Yes LXD isn't fully supported in centmin mod 123.08stable and partially supported in 123.09beta01 - benchmarks
But from my limited experience, not all LXD containers from every web host is configured properly so some web host's LXD containers do unexpected stuff in CentOS 7 due to how they're configured.

So for best experience, I suggest KVM VPS as per https://centminmod.com/install.html

Alright thank you so much. I'll try the beta version once. If it doesn't works for me,I guess I have to change the VPS or go with the manual nginx installation process.

Thanks again for quick replies :D
