I'm preparing for my linode to be rebooted (Linode windows for critical patching).

I know IP Tables will be erased once a server is rebooted, how does that process work with CSF enabled? Do I still need to output the rules to a file as outlined in the Linode guide?: Securing Your Server - Linode Guides & Tutorials

no need to do anything, CSF Firewall survives reboots fully intact :D

    Great feature!
Also, when I print my IPTable rules, I have MANY.. is this normal? Is this something that CSF does?

If so, then I would be covered by CSF auto saving the rules for me and not need to worry about IPTables.
