Actually I didn't. At that time, when I was trying to build a CentminMod image, 5 private repositories was more than I needed. So I started to use it. However, when I started to build images from scratch, I decided I would go open-source (public) from the beginning, and sticked with GitHub + Docker Hub. To be honest, I don't login to Quay.io for few months.

Tutum is very nice. I think it's one of the best hosting platforms for Docker containers at present time. It has greatly influenced the plans I have for Tropicloud. After having used it, I started to look for open-source PaaS platforms I could use to host my clients websites. In my opinion (and many others) Deis.io is leading the run, followed closed by Panamax (which is also awesome). However, running a CoreOS cluster of at least 3x 4GB Ram machines isn't the cheaper way to learn. I deployed it a few times (also Kubernetes on CoreOS) and became very impressed by both, but as long as I still building the images, I started to experiment with smaller alternatives, and Dokku-alt became the logical choice now that's sponsored by Deis and has the ability to deploy apps based on Dockerfiles.

So for now, I'm testing my images on both vanilla Docker host and Dokku-alt, in the hope that when I get to the point of app scaling and loading balancing, it will be compatible with these bigger platforms.
