    Anyone tried the service of conatbo.com?, The prices are amazing but I dont know anything about uptime and support.

    I know Contabo since 2014.
    Nothing bad about their support here but hardware was old (i.e Intel® Core™ i7-920 launch date Q4'08) + overselling.

    Old hardware means more likely to get hardware failures.
    6, 14 GB seems nice but useless on 2 or 4 old oversold CPU cores.

    If you want hosting in Germany with a blend of cheap and yet reliability (cost-benefit).
    Go for Linode.

    Yeah alot of folks have reported that. i7 920 ain't bad, I had the Xeon W3520 equivalent back in the day and though could handle large traffic sites fine once the web stack was tuned i.e. 500,000 unique IP visitors/day.

    Linode is definitely getting better and with recent Linode Network backbone upgrades shaping up nicely Linode - Linode Network Backbone Upgrades and some data centers sporting the new Xeon E5-2697v4 cpus Linode - Linode starting to use Intel Xeon E5-2697v4 @2.3Ghz CPUs :)

    I tried contabo for about 3-4 months with Plesk. Sometimes the CPU was hitting 90% ... 3 WordPress Sites on it with 500 Visitors per day... Random Reboots... around 2-3. I switched to Vultr + CMM. paying less ... 0 Performance issues.

    Edit#1 Much better performance with Vultr + CMM...

    I already avoided it and I go to with Linode and it is working 100% with no issues.
