    https://www.nfoservers.com/order-virtual-dedicated-server.php Their single core linux:

    • One full, dedicated HT CPU core (Nehalem or better)
    • 1024 MB of RAM
    • 100 GB of RAID-protected storage
    • 1500 GB of InterNAP bandwidth transfer
    • Restricted to Linux installs [IMG]
    • No SSD or extra-memory options
Only $9.99 a month...I've been with them since 2005 and they have been awesome, consider checking them out Eva, they have multiple locations in the US...I personally think they are the best since they use Internap. Since you are in Australia you might get better performance to their LA D/C

    • 2048 MB of RAM
    • 200 GB of RAID-protected storage
    • 4000 GB of InterNAP bandwidth transfer

Yep, they are awesome and John is very knowledgeable. Also on the server panel it gives you the option to 1 click backup your whole server.
Most of their locations use Dual Intel Xeon E5-2690, the slowest processor I've used in the last couple years was the E3-1270.
    I am on a Dual E5-2690.

Also Eva, they don't charge you right away, if you look at the bottom they give you a 2 day free trial (Right under the cost box, last box).
They are very generous with pricing/space/bw.

Also every few months they keep reducing VDS prices, and existing customers can't refinance their servers to the new prices, which is really neat, not many providers do this for their customers...

Also you can change your server location on the fly, they make it really easy for your change locations.
Their control panel is simple, yet very powerful. 1 click erase/load OS and many other features. It also has built in house firewall that makes lives easy if you are being attacked.
