    It seems like the codebase has gotten a little dusty over the years.
    For example: I still see patches from almost 6 years ago regarding Nginx 1.11.6.
    This code is pretty useless these days.

    I think it would be a good idea to dust off the codebase and remove old stuff before the release of CMM8.

    Yeah eventually, though won't be happening before EL8 is done and publicly released most likely due to my time constraints. That time better spent on getting EL8 out the door right now :) The old code is usually encased in conditional logic so won't run anyway.
