    Hi,

I already have a SSL installed in my forum but I tried to install Cloudflare and found I get a SSL connection error when I visit my site. I've already disabled all options in the Crypto tab but I still see the error.

Is it possible to just use CF together with a SSL certificate I already bought?

Yes just enable the Full option on Crypto section :)

That will force SSL use and I already did it but I'm getting the error I said so the problem is definitely from CF side.

From what i know Cloudflare ssl isn't something that you can install on your server.
You just enable it and if you have the correct https nginx vhost config file it works....

So if you have setup correct your ssl on your server then enabling Full on crypto should work.

Then you just need to disable Cloudflare :)

There is no way to have Cloudflare enabled and only your Symantec ssl certificate...

    Solutions:

1)Disable cloudflare and use your Symantec ssl
2)Use Cloudflare and enable Full at crypto section and use your Symantec ssl together

figure out what the error means as it could be ECC 256bit/ECDSA ssl certificate/ciphers that free Cloudflare SSL uses not being compatible with your client/browser

or upgrade to Cloudflare business or higher plans which allow custom own ssl certificate usage. I believe they are also rolling out paid options across all Cloudflare plans to allow for custom ssl certificate of your own usage at US$10/month WebPerf - Cloudflare Dedicated SSL Certificates | Centmin Mod Community

My recommendation was for the free Cloudflare plan ..... so feel free to ignore it :)

I will research more next time :)

It was due to the ssl certificate had to be authorized by CF first. I'm currently dealing with another issue, once I enable CF my forum takes many more seconds to load so I'm waiting for an answer from CF support before enable it again
