Is this supported? cleartext FTP

I Found this:

Solution:
Just add a ftpes:// before the domain name

for example Old One,
host : domain.com
username : xxx
pass : yyy
port : 21

Now the new.
host : ftpes://domain.com
username : xxx
pass : yyy
port : 21

clear text FTP is specifically disabled by pure-ftpd virtual FTP configuration as outlined at Pure-FTPD Virtual FTP Users - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS

but ftpes = ftp explicit SSL not plain text
