Chrome 69 stops displaying www. and m. in address urls

    Chrome 69 release has started to confuse some users by no longer displaying www. and m. in the web browser's Omnibox url address bar Official: Google Chrome 69 kills off the World Wide Web (in URLs). I knew it would stop displaying a green padlock, but it's news to me that they would remove www. and m. from web browser address bar!

    What do folks here think ? For folks with web sites primarily domain being www. version, it will be confusing !

    I never use WWW for my websites anymore. Shorter is better IMO.

    Good software makes us stupid.
    By leaving more and more away we become increasingly stupid because our brain have to do less and less. More and more is being done for us automatically. Interesting article > How good software makes us stupid
