I've been using NameCheap all these years haha. I was considering GoDaddy at a point in time because they were cheaper, but I'm not sure if prices have been raised since.

namesilo looks cheaper for .com registrations but I'm worried if that's just to get people to sign up and buy with 'em.

Edit: Looks like there's a NameCheap sale right now. $6.98 is an amazing price.

If I extended my domains month ago and transfer to namecheap, do I loose those 11 months, or only extend by namecheap once domain expires by original registrar ?

I transferred a bunch of domains from Namecheap and Ionos to cloudflare domain registry just last month.

You can grab a couple from ionos for $1, wait 6 months and transfer to cloudflare. Back in the day, I'll get it from Yahoo and transfer to another registrar before it rolls over into the second year because they charge higher to recoup all the discounts they have away.

    https://www.ionos.com/domains/1-dollar-domains

*Ionos has a terrible user interface by the way.

I used NameSilo for many years and was always really happy with them. Their interface looks quite dated but it offers a lot of batch updating tools and it "just works", which is awesome.

However, I did transfer my eligible domains to Cloudflare for the cheaper price. I would still recommend NameSilo and would register any new domains there (until I can register them at Cloudflare).

Many times I use namecheap on a fresh, new account and get a. com for a few cents. Afterwards I transfer that domain to my main, old account for free and cancel the new account.

When a the domain is about to expire I look wherever it's cheaper. Nowadays it's cloudflare

Hi @eva2000 do you use namecheap not cloudflare?

At the moment I see Easy Domain Transfer with Namecheap - Domain Transfer - Namecheap
    .com from
    $8.58/year

when in cloudflare my last renew cost: $8.03 in total.

here com .com Domain Registration | Buy .com Domain Here - Namecheap
    renew cost $12.98

    Porkbun https://porkbun.com/products/domains#searchResultsTldLetter_c
    .com
$8.56 3 Per User 1st Year Sale! $4.15 order new domain
    $8.56 renew
    $8.56 transfer

What I can advise you all Guys to use Transferwise debit card when it debit from any currencies and you do not have to transfer first to USD to use it like in Revoult. Card and accounts are free.
Similar rates to Revoult and much better then in Paypal.

@EckyBrazzz do you open a plenty new accounts?

@eva2000 "regos will be available at cloudflare" - it is available now.

Yes, with a new email account. I never pay more than $.079 for a domain the first year.

Just checked their site, but I think it's a no-go now. Sorry. In the past it worked excellent.
