Xenforo Change from memcached to Redis = XF crashes!

    This is a generic XenForo error rather than specific to the Redis Cache add-on. You need to be careful about configuring open_basedir correctly or everything breaks weirdly.

    Just disabled it globally. I thought I had it disabled properly for my vhost but I guess not. Instead of messing with that I figured it would be easiest to just disable globally. Now I just need to monitor to see if this fixes the issue or not.

    I think this is better disabled by default?
    It always cause a problem than good result :D.

    Forgot to reply with an update. Forum has been running great with Redis after globally disabling openbase_dir redirection

    Thanks to everyone for your help!! Next task is to upgrade to PHP 7
