    Don't think so.
I suspect, all managed, tracked and automated by Koji.
First building the SRPM from their own Red Hat source and then the RPM thereafter in the same task.

Fact is that CentOS is repeating the whole process again.
Import the Red Hat code by git, changing art and name related stuff,
building SRPM from source and thereafter the RPM.

Hence I wrote that Red Hat easily should produce 2 SRPM's and 2 RPM's at the same time.
One for CentOS, one for Red Hat EL.

The above working process is logical if you are not related to Red Hat. Red Hat releases their source and you are building your own product from that source. But now as CentOS is part of Red Hat. This working method is reasonless up to and including.

oh i see.. there must be a method to CentOS's madness otherwise it is indeed alot of wasted effort and time.

    Keeping your job.
No reason to change or modernize if you know that with it you are cutting your own job.
That is, of course, their right.

    First round of tests status:
This can cause retardation though it also exists upstream (RHEL 7.4. already released of course).

ouch serious bug in RHEL 7.4
would definitely affect Centmin Mod as firewalld is disabled in favour of CSF Firewall combined with iptables/ip6tables

As written before CentOS should focus on upstream not on own private 'prestigious' projects.

Both aarch64 and x86 are not released, nor supported by upstream.
Aarch64 is in development preview, x86 won't exits and is not released again.

    So please CentOS stay upstream.
To mutch wasted time now and a schedule never achieved.

Yeah totally agree especially with CentOS 7's memory requirements. 32bit should end.

It does not bother me. That it takes longer.
Given the time on it's own.

Problem is that there are several security related updates.
    Which are currently unavailable.

So if you are a small team just like CentOS.
Set priorities and first put the most important product on the line and then go to unofficial projects like x86 and Aarch64. Which are none upstream, unofficial and not supported.

It seems like they have just started with everything at the same time with limited resources.

Who the fuck names these utility & CLI arguments and have they even been sent to a remedial UX/UI course?

@Xon Programmers are not specialized in marketing or communication.
In addition, most programmers are so clever that they think the ordinary man understands it too.
Dumbs did not make any sense.:
    For example Boringssl.

    Code (Text):
    yum list updates --enablerepo=cr --disableplugin=priorities

though see them at Index of /centos/7/cr/x86_64/Packages :)

Sure give the mirrors some time.
Did some rsync, also with repodata, enabled my own test repo.
It is working fine. Files are ready.
