    Hi @hardousse

Did you choose the 120GB SSD or 1TB SATA Hard Drive with your server?

Also can you test and share the following speed test:

    Code:
    wget freevps.us/downloads/bench.sh -O - -o /dev/null|bash
    Thanks

    Hi @hardousse

The network results seem excellent! Specially to NL that may be caused by they opened a NL datacenter a few weeks ago with a direct network connection from their FR to NL.

About the disk performance is not slow... but it could be better for a SSD drive. Can you test and share the following disk test:

    Code:
    dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync; rm test

Me too i was think the same, this is the result
    Code:
    [root@srv1 ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync; rm test
    16384+0 records in
    16384+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 4.82046 s, 223 MB/s
@nqservices what you think about it ?

    @hardousse

It still seems that could be faster.. Maybe can be due to the weak CPU can't take full advantage of the SSD.

The best way to know for sure if there was another user here on the forum with a equal server that could also share their results (at the moment i don't have any servers with online.net).

But anyway for the price, i think you really got nice deal! Just take in attention that if you buy the server from their reseller OneProvider - Worldwide hosting solutions and dedicated servers there are no setup fees and prices seem equal or lower. Anyway, i always prefer to buy directly from the origin so i think you have a nice and cheap setup.

Hope all goes well with the server!

cpu, disk and memory wise Linode 2GB would be faster but network speed outbound Linode would be slower on 2GB VPS at 125Mbps. Really depends on your needs

    First for this CPU:
That was too slow, very low end spec.
For the Network, Still not good and ideal speed.
and last for the SSD speed, still very slow almost similar to spinning disk.

For that price per month, I suggest Ramnode (much faster CPU and Network for low plans) or Linode (y).
