Install Strange question : can I skip install but use the other features?

CentOS Version: CentOS6.9

Centmin Mod Version Installed: non yet !

Nginx Version Installed: non yet !

PHP Version Installed: 7.0.19

MariaDB MySQL Version Installed: non

When was last time updated Centmin Mod code base ? : never have !

I have a system setup with Apache ( dont groan ! ) , mySQL , php7.0.19 and Zend Opcache.

I am quite new to this here Linux malarkey and wrestling and learning with all the nuances.

I like the idea of centminMod , but I am also quite happy with the current setup.

What my question is , is can I install cenminMod and avoid the actual Ngix / other bits and pick and choose via the really neat menu things like the memcache install and the various upgrade options that CentminMod offers me.

Sound like a daft question ? I hope not !

Unfortunately, you can't pick and choose like that as per FAQ item 1 at FAQ - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS

Does Centmin Mod Work With WHM/Cpanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, Webmin, ISPConfig Or Other Control Panels ?
Centmin Mod was created and tested to work as standalone Nginx, PHP-FPM and MariaDB MySQL stack without the use of any control panels. The goal of the Centmin Mod menu based installation was to make it easier to manage without the aid of a control panel. Centmin Mod definitely doesn't work with WHM/Cpanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin. I am unsure if it will work with Webmin, ISPConfig or Kloxo. Reason is mainly due to custom source compiled versions for Nginx and PHP-FPM and how the configuration files and settings are structured and laid out are totally different from any CentOS YUM repository provided installs for Nginx and PHP-FPM and the fact that Centmin Mod LEMP stack uses MariaDB MySQL. If you do try this yourself, please do on a test server environment only and not your live production web servers.

The curl installer method was added from Centmin Mod 1.2.3-eva2000.08+ onwards and is the easiest way to install Centmin Mod which allows for fully unattended installs. It is the preferred method of installation as opposed to centmin.sh menu option 1 method. It's just one line you type in SSH session as root user on a fresh virgin CentOS 6 or CentOS 7 OS environment.
