Centmin Mod Nginx HTTP/2 HTTPS TLS 1.3 Support

Latest Centmin Mod 123.09beta01's Nginx 1.15.3+ now supports TLS v1.3 with two cryptographic libraries that can be built with Centmin Mod Nginx, instructions here BoringSSL and OpenSSL 1.1.1.

• For Centmin Mod Nginx with BoringSSL based TLS 1.3, that is ready and folks can following instructions at Nginx - Enabling BoringSSL TLS v1.3 with Centmin Mod Nginx HTTP/2 HTTPS Server. For Nginx 1.15.3 + BoringSSL TLS 1.3 with 0-RTT Early Data resumption.
• For Centmin Mod Nginx with OpenSSL 1.1.1 based TLS 1.3, has official GA stable release as at September 11, 2018. See OpenSSL - OpenSSL 1.1.1 Released with TLS 1.3 Support. For TLS 1.3 0-RTT, Nginx 1.15.4+ adds OpenSSL 1.1.1 support for Early Data resumption.

Official OpenSSL 1.1.1 final release is out now with TLS 1.3 support OpenSSL - OpenSSL 1.1.1 Released with TLS 1.3 Support

 

FYI, Chrome 70 stable release is out so TLS 1.3 rfc final version is supported so either Nginx + OpenSSL 1.1.1 TLS 1.3 or Nginx + BoringSSL TLS 1.3 outlined above will work in Chrome 70 browser and report TLS 1.3 protocol usage

Next week Firefox 63 also will be released to support TLS 1.3 rfc final protocol version
