Nothing from my point of view. Support contract was terminated for the server admin function I had been providing since 2014.

Really nice forum! If you don’t mind me asking, how are you monetizing that? I don’t see any ads when I view it from here in the US.

    Someone is paying attention ;)

We recently stopped with ads all together because of tracking.
In the EU you are required to show, in detail, all the adnetworks/trackers that you use.
And because we used a Dutch ad network, there were a LOT of trackers. What made it worse was the consent popup that was misleading. It made it hard to deny cookies.
Most consent popups in Holland behave like that and it is, simply put, against the (GDPR) law.

When announcing stopping with ads and pointing our users to the consequences of that decision we suggested donating.

And boy did we receive donations...above ALL expectations.
Mainly because most of our users found the decision brave and respected our belief in protection users privacy.

We are currently looking into alternative ways to monitize (direct sales could be one of them) because with donations only we cannot continue indefinitely.

What about quancast? You can customize and put a reject button easy.
