Can't login to phpMyAdmin

I followed the directions for installing phpMyAdmin. I can get to the phpMyAdmin login screen, but no further.

I enter my root username and password, as copied from ~/.my.cnf, but the screen just refreshes and comes back to the login screen. It does this same thing if I enter random login credentials.

Thus, I can't login.

Please disregard. I uninstalled, rebuilt PHP, reinstalled, and now it's working.
