can't load main page after a clean install

    so why i can see them without problem ?
    idk why this is happening also i save them in utf-8 u said u have problems
    now i upload them without doing anything just by cat command .

    can you change your browser or check it on another system ?

    doesn't matter as problem is your network configuration it's bound to private ip by your web host

    At least with my phone I can't read it. It is like loading the page but data isn't moving. I can read only few lines. Then just empty. I can scroll down quite a long time.

    So I guess I shouldn't of deleted my previous post ;) we just reinstalled the node with openvz6, same exact setup as all our other nodes, nothing fancy.

    Centos7 container

    I spun up a cpanel server, a quick nginx server and another apache server, all are accessible.

    I ruled out CSF and iptables all together just by disabling both, no iptables rules but all iptables modules loaded regardless:

    I can run tcpdump and I do see the connection over port 80, again I can access the nginx status URL

    Maybe its something super dumb but I would need to sleep a good 6 hours to reset my brain to find anything dumb I am over looking. Any thoughts? =X

    You mean that fixed it using openvz 6 instead of openvz 7 ? Problem was on openvz 7 node ?

    I haven't tried Centmin Mod on openvz 7 nodes yet so no idea if it's related to openvz 7 specifically. Centmin Mod does use existence of /proc/user_beancounters to determine if openvz (6.x) virtualization is used and to skip some stuff during install i.e. openvz vps do not get system TCP level sysctl.conf tuning due to openvz using host kernel and not having permissions to do so. Now if openvz 7 no longer uses /proc/user_beancounters and has some permissions at kernel/TCP level, it could be Centmin Mod is running routines not meant for openvz (7) ?

    No No, I meant it did NOT fix it, same exact situation.

    I am migrating the one container to one of our existing nodes now to see if the issue persists.

    Also, centminmod does work fine on openvz7, its not that.

    Strange indeed. It's fresh install using betainstaller.sh or betainstaller-latest.sh or one of the variants which default to different php versions ? Any changes to nginx config options via /etc/centminmod/custom_config.inc persistent config file ?

    Wow - strange one indeed, let us know what you find. Are all openvz host nodes using same kernel version too ? Nginx install routine does inspect the linux kernel for certain options to be enabled or disabled depending on whether the linux kernel supports such i.e. reuseport, TCP Fast Open etc.

    Also what cpu model used on host nodes as Centmin Mod also auto detects what is supported on specific cpu models i.e. Intel cpus and whether they have specific optimisations that can be enabled i.e. Cloudflare zlib fork is only enabled in Nginx compiles if cpu has SSE4.2 instructions support. GCC 7.2.1 nginx compilation is enabled where appropriate cpu model and architecture is detected too.

    You can also try recompiling just nginx via centmin.sh menu option 4 on working and not working openvz servers and providing the output from their respective nginx_upgrade.log logs for inspection. The logs would show some of Centmin Mod's logic and checks for auto optimising Nginx compiles based on detected cpu model and detected linux kernel supported options.

    to check the full nginx upgrade log at /root/centminlogs and instructions under Sharing logs and errors heading for using Pastebin.com or Gists to share a sanitised version of the contents of the nginx_upgrade.log log. You can see full details at How to troubleshoot Centmin Mod initial install issues

    if you type this command it lists all logs in date ascending order so latest log at bottom

    you can use grep to filter the logs, i.e. look for nginx_upgrade in log name

    then use cat command to output the contents of that log

    clear your ssh window buffer/screen and type

    though Xeon E5620 (Westmere-EP 2010) is very old cpu on not working system and similar to @R0rke on older Xeon X3440 cpus (Lynnfield 2009).
