Interesting indeed - Shawn from Digitalpoint.com is one of the largest sites I know using Cloudflare without reporting such SEO issues though.

Wonder if it depends on what specific Cloudflare features you enable on your plan ? Or any specific features or page rules you configure or misconfigure ?

From first link, the owner only waited 24hrs to turn off cloudflare after seeing the crawl rate drop while Cloudflare support said the crawl rate will rise back up over time.

That's possible as Cloudflare may block visits from what it detects as not real visitors - so less visits = less pageviews = less ad impressions.

but could be shared Cloudflare IP from How to Protect Your SEO Rankings When Using CloudFlare

But you need to be on Cloudflare Business Plan at $200/month to be able to upload custom SSL certificates ! But wording on Cloudflare also suggest ordeirng an auto renewaling dedicated SSL cert also allows uploading ?

But according to Cloudflare comment they use SNI shared IP and not dedicated IP for dedicated SSL certs Dedicated SSL Certificates

Blocking users due to the Cloudflare firewall filters or captcha.
    I don't think it applies.

    This is too coincidental.
    Otherwise everyone suffers.

It is most likely the shared IP which causes problems.
Google ranks strictly on low quality content now a days.

If you come to a shared system by accident with sites as for example
MOTD live streams (still there on Cloudflare) and content scrapers.
    Then you have a problem.

Hello, I also noticed a drop in adsense on various sites.

Now I do not use cloudflare for a long time, nor even adsense, I switched to Ad Exchange aka Adex, but I do not think I will still test cloudflare on revenue.

Ps; I used the paid version but not the 200 / month version

Suppose this could only happen when using the proxy feature and not by using the free DNS service...

the only way I know to use CF is to configure their Name servers.

Yes, but that doesn't mean you need to use all features.
I only use the free dns and disable cloudflare protection.

We have used CloudFlare for years and our SEO has been just fine.
