I'm currently trying to find the best bang for my buck across a few different providers. I've had this instance for a while and it costs £3.49 per month with the following specs:

    1CPU 2.4GHz
    2 GB Memory
    10GB SSD
    Local Raid 10

    Install details for 123.09beta01

Not absolutely terrible but not great either.

Stupid question time for anyone that can enlighten me. I have run test sites on this VPS with only 10GB SSD. The recommendation for KVM virtualisation on CentOS 7 is 60GB. In laymans terms what will eventually happen? I'm assuming disk space runs out and server crashes?

    Nginx 1.21.x
    MariaDB 10.x
Looks about right for 1x cpu haswell core @2.4Ghz in non-USA region (slower yum downloads factor in).

As to disk space it depends on web host provided CentOS images some default out of box with nothing else installed to between 3-6GB used already. So leaves little room for Centmin Mod install etc. Once you run of out disk space you can crash your server, services stop working and databases can corrupt and you won't be able to repair them as mysql repair operations need to use disk space too which can mean extra disk free space needed of between 2-5x times the size of your largest database table.

Thanks for that. I use a shade over 6GB with CentOS 7 (OVH image), Centminmod and 1 Wordpress site. So that pretty much tallies with your figure.
