Vultr Bad experience on sendmail

    I've just got bad experience of using vultr. I'm using wordpress, I can't use contact form or get any notifications about my website by email. After investigation, I submit ticket then got answer that they block all sendmail ports.
    The point here is that they can't limit sending email but blocking all. Then request users many paper works.
    I'm using this over 3 months quite happy with the speed, networks... but at last I think I got to move another one.

    Just to share all of you before choosing your hosting.

    it's known policy with vultr, you need to contact support to unblock smtp/email on the server(s), once that is done, you can send email on all vultr vpses :)

    fyi, centmin mod uses postfix not sendmail :D

    I requested for opening port 25 for MiaB email server with Vultr, I think 5 times more now.
    But they didn't ask me any paper works or anything.
    They just activated it in minutes after I submit a ticket with request.

    strange, the unblock is meant to be account wide, i've only had to request unblock once for my Vultr account

    When I created new node instance, I requested to unblock it every time.

    oh, just ask them to confirm if unblock is account wide as you only need to request unblock once :)
