I have seen some benchmarks with more than 50% performance boost under certain loads compared to Ryzen-line and other top-of-the-line CPUs.

Is it possible to try this out yet? I see no supported OSs in AWS (there is no CentOS support for aarch64 as of yet?), so no Centminmod for Graviton2 yet?

Yeah Centmin Mod doesn't support ARM cpus yet as not all YUM packages from 3rd parties support ARM as opposed to usual x86 cpus.

There is an interesting article for creating AMI for ARM: Creating an AMI for ARM

I will check this out of curiosity, as Amazon seems to be the only one offering Graviton2 and they have this program: https://aws.amazon.com/activate/founders/

This try out can hit a brick wall with "Centmin Mod doesn't support ARM cpus yet as not all YUM packages from 3rd parties support ARM as opposed to usual x86 cpus" pretty fast though :)

Yeah Centmin Mod doesn't support ARM cpus as yet so for Graviton2 testing would need to test something else :)
