So maybe this is the reason my memcached somewhat failed to restart after update?

    you mean
    Code:
Starting php-fpm [24-Nov-2015 09:29:10] NOTICE: PHP message: PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20151012/memcache.so' - /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20151012/memcache.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
    done

that is because you run PHP 7 and memcache PHP extension isn't supported so need to remove memcache.ini settings file and restart php-fpm

    Code:
    rm -rf /etc/centminmod/php.d/memcache.ini
    fpmrestart
memcached php extension should be fine on PHP 7

    Code:
    php --ini
    Configuration File (php.ini) Path: /usr/local/lib
    Loaded Configuration File: /usr/local/lib/php.ini
Scan for additional .ini files in: /etc/centminmod/php.d
    Additional .ini files parsed: /etc/centminmod/php.d/a_customphp.ini,
    /etc/centminmod/php.d/curlcainfo.ini,
    /etc/centminmod/php.d/geoip.ini,
    /etc/centminmod/php.d/imagick.ini,
    /etc/centminmod/php.d/memcached.ini,
    /etc/centminmod/php.d/zendopcache.ini

Just a bit curious as to why it failed to start PHP-FPM?
    Code:
Gracefully shutting down php-fpm /etc/init.d/php-fpm: line 103: kill: (6962) - No such process
    ................................... failed. Use force-exit
Older PHP version works fine, I just tested now.
PHP restart failed only happens on PHP7.
