Wasn't sure where to ask this, so just chose here as it has a WordPress prefix.

Alright, the issue I seem to be experiencing is that I have a couple of WordPress themes I really enjoy because of how minimal they are, minus a few minor edits I want to make. I use the inspect on my browser and preview the changes I'd like to make, but when I go into the Editor in the admin dashboard and make those changes inside the style.css file, none of them seem to appear after I've edited it. Upon going back to check the style.css file, the code is indeed removed from that end.

I clear my caches, yet it remains. I'll use inspect on my browser after removing a portion of code, but during the inspect back on the main page, the code is back despite me having removed it from the style.css.

Has anyone here experienced this before or am I missing something?

Hmm, appears one has to use a child theme. Learn something new every day!
