RamNode Are vps also paid by hourly or only pr. month?

Sorry, I have to ask - its not fully clear to me.. Have read almost only good about Ramnode here at CMM. I do like their 512 MB with 2 cores - and wish to try it.

And one question more - If I only wish to host dns - is the openvz enough for that or should I go with kvm options?

 

Thank you @eva2000 for clarify this for me. I do not wish to use 3rd dns providers. I wish to learn to handle glue records, soa, own validated registra dns servers (in Denmark) (building that). After that, dnssec and as the last step, dkim and adsp on my own mailservers and create TXT records in dns etc.

I'm fully aware that I can't get the same speed as the 3rd party mention here offer but that is okay. Will go ahead and take 2 small vps (Ramnode+DO) and start working on this project.

 

Love to learn - especially when I have an idea of what I play with - the last statement don't happens often..

@ others - anyone who have an idea about when ramnode have good discounts on vps - more than 20%+ - when to expect that?
