Yes, and that makes sense. When bounced on one list a email should be bounced on all lists.

You just have to go to the list where is bounced and delete it and then add it again. You can do this on the same list. Just delete the bounce and add it again.

Thank you for your work on this.
Finally got to set up centminmod on another server and get sendy installed.
Applied the patch and get open rate as well.

We don't use CentminMod on our Sendy server but we are using PHP7 with it.

Do you mind helping me by making a quick test on your Sendy installation just to confirm if the problem I'm having is a Sendy bug or a problem with my server configuration?

The problem I'm having is that in some specific cases, it shows "NAN%" error's on the Campaign Report as you can see at: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

This only happens with PHP 7. With PHP 5.6 all works properly.

To make the test you just have to follow the next 3 steps:

1- Create a new list with just 1 subscriber (the Amazon SES Bounce Test Email): bounce@simulator.amazonses.com
2- Send 1 campaign just to that list.
3- After campaign is sent, check the Campaign Report to see if you see "NAN%" errors.

    Thanks

Thanks for confirming this from your end! Finally I found someone else who also has the same problem! My conclusion is that the problem are compatibility issues with Sendy + PHP7.

The normal sending process already works on my server. But that specific case of "NAN" errors made me switch back to PHP 5.6 to ensure I will not get any non accurate reports, because I found the problem on this specific case but I don't if there are more.

I have already contact Sendy developer (Ben) to inform about this problem but he said that Sendy is 100% compatible with PHP7 and that the problem should be related with my server configuration. He also suggest me to try to disable "group by mysql" in the database, but that also did not fix the problem.

So I think it would be good for both of us and also all other Sendy users if you open a forum post on Sendy Forum or send a direct message to Ben to report this issue.

I'm sure that if Ben get's this information from other users rather than me, he will see that is a Sendy issue and surely he will resolve it.

Sendy really is a great tool and i'm looking forward to make it work at 100% with PHP7!

    Thanks

I will do that when I get a chance today. I had to disable the group by but that is a MySQL specific issue. I believe that issue is specific to 5.7.

Thanks for reporting this to Sendy Developer. Please keep me updated with hid feedback.

About the "group by" I tried to disable it and did not resolve the "NAN" issue. I'm using MariaDB 10.1.

I've not purchased a copy (yet) but on the hunt for a good list manager as IPB's default isn't great. I'm using IPB, around 100k still on my list, although many will bounce. I'm using SES for forum mail as it stands and migrating others to it too. Quick Q for those who have a copy about list management.

On list management then, if I initially upload my users with either a true/false flag for subscribing. Then a month later, upload an update where some of those have changed, from subscribe to not via the forum interface, does the list manager upload wizardry in sendy cope with those updates?

Or I could use the API and hit each one with an update, that could work too :) Except it has to be a bit cleverer than that, given the sendy list email/opt out might of been triggered. QED Forums opt in and send opt in won't always be aligned. Or ignore the IPB status, every registration send to sendy, invite to opt-in. umm.

    Hi @BamaStangGuy

Did you already received any feedback/response from Sendy developer about the "PHP7 NAN%" Bug?

    Thanks

I have not try MailWizz directly, but from what I have read about it, is very similar to Sendy. The interface seems to be "more complicated" and with more options. Also MailWizz has the "big" advantage of being able to be integrated with many SMTP services. Sendy allows Amazon SES and if you want SMTP it will loose all the statistics.

Anyway Sendy is a very good and simple Email Marketing app, that "just works".

    Hi @eva2000

    Yes.. it seems ;)

Can you please test on your own installation if now, we still need to use the custom "geoinc.patch" patch that you have made? Or will now Sendy work "out of the box" with CentminMOD (of course with the custom nginx changes).

    Thanks
