Amazon AWS Email Amazon SES Issues - 421 too many messages error

    You should edit the title of this thread to include the error.

    I'm having this as well, but I'm using port 465. I get a bunch of these errors when I send out high (50k+) volumes of emails at a time:
    Code:
    remote error: tls: user canceled
    421 Connection closed by server. Too many messages in one session
    My Amazon SES limits are well above the settings I'm using.

    I found this discussion where someone fixed it by switching to port 587.

    Here's a discussion of TLS port 465 vs STARTTLS port 587 that makes me hesitant to switch to 587.

    You mention 500k per day limit but how many emails per second limit? Sounds like your surpassed that limit set by Amazon SES? My limit for Amazon AWS SES is 250k per day at max 50 emails per second
