I can see where they would be needed if Amazon won't let you play outside of their sandbox... but if you can get out, it's much cheaper... especially if you have a low volume site - you can't beat free!

Right now I'm battling 2FA QR token image vs Authy issues over on my site. None of my IOS devices will scan in the QR image as valid in Authy (an 11 Pro, 13 Pro Max and a first gen Ipad Pro). The other applications work fine, so it's something specific to Authy, IOS 15.6 and my site.... just trying to chase down what it could be.
XF support acknowledges that on an Android device, the image is "slow to focus" in authy... but does eventually read. That in itself indicates an issue as it should not be "slow to focus", and I'm STRONGLY leaning towards an issue with Authy, since other 2FA applications have NO issues.

Yeah unfortunately Amazon SES sandbox approvals have gotten a lot more strict than in previous years. Though sometimes it's the fault of my client i.e. bad domain email sending reputation due to not having proper SPF/DKIM/DMARC/PTR records in place https://community.centminmod.com/th...ver-email-doesnt-end-up-in-spam-inboxes.6999/ :)

    Maybe device timezone accuracy?

Amazingly, I submitted my request and about 2 hours later I was FREE!!!!

Nope...turns out an actual issue with the latest Authy app (both Android and iPhone) from Twilio. They have submitted the data to their engineers to resolve it.
