AlmaLinux AlmaLinux 8.6 released

AlmaLinux OS 8.6 is released.

Highlights:

• Added new module streams:
  • PHP 8.0
  • Perl 5.32
  • log4j 2
  • container-tools 4.0
• Added new repositories:
  • Real Time (RT)
  • Real Time for NFV (NFV)
• Compiler updates:
  • GCC Toolset 11
  • LLVM Toolset 13.0.1
  • Rust Toolset 1.58.1
  • Go Toolset 1.17.7
• Added drop-in configuration files support to OpenSSH
  
  
• Added --checksum option to the semodule command to verify the versions of installed SELinux policy modules

Of course upstream Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.6 was released just before.
But since most probably don't have a license and AlmaLinux is source copied anyway.
It does not make much sense, in my opinion, to open a similar topic.

Maybe you could start develop Centminmod EL9+ beta synchronous to EL8+ as EL9 is on its way. For example. AlmaLinux 9 beta bits are already available. You lazy popcorn fart! Otherwise get your ass to mars!
