How do we calculate the amount of php-fpm connections that a server can handle from the config?

    Hello

    How do we calculate the amount of php-fpm connections that a server can handle from the config?

    For example:
    Is the 5000 the limit?

    Do we calculate the 20X5000 to get the total connections that the phpfpm set to handle?

    I know that it is related to nginx ram mariadb and all the rest but i would like to know about phpfpm specific....

    I updated 2nd post of sticky thread at https://community.centminmod.com/th...oot-optimize-php-fpm-server.15317/#post-74020 with more info - get reading ;) and no pm.max_requests is not a request limit in absolute sense.

    But basic gist is you calculate from continuous monitoring of php-fpm statistics and resource usage and make informed decisions on php-fpm options based on understanding of those options and how they play out in php-fpm statistics status output/monitored metrics.
