I've followed this guide to the letter
Addon phpmyadmin.sh - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS
And anytime I point my browser to:...
I love MariaDB, but they take forever to update.
Thanks for the heads up (y)
I gathered that. ;)
Which is why I'm asking as a feature request.
That's not acceptable. Budget for a few of my smaller sites is now $0. Has to be free.
TIME is a big problem for me. I have now, before I have tomorrow. If it cannot work now, tomorrow is no good either.
Not stable enough. Cannot even get it to upgrade.
Cloud have been an issue exclude to Flarum?
It is a puzzling why it only was "my" issue.
I think I'll try stable 08
Going to give this a try
NodeBB - Centmin Mod Nginx + NodeBB Forum Install | Centmin Mod Community
It was. It is.
It was just chmod 750 and 640, which wasn't working well. Changing it to 755 and 644 solved everything. :)
Yes, but the chmod is incorrect because nothing is public and thus nothing is viewable. I ended up with a 500 internal server error until...
My suggestion is that when creating a vHost, after creating the user you should be asked if that user will have ssh permissions or not.
I'm assuming this is a bug.
Has chmod things to the correct 755 and 644
@eva2000 So they basically instructed me to add a lot of stuff I didn't need or that you had thought of ahead and included in Centmin Mod's...
Final result is the last code box ;)
Well the stock one provided (that was generated by Centmin Mod) was this
# Centmin Mod Getting Started...
I learned how to do that in Debian, but I was hoping for another method. Redis is something I'll need in the future.
Ah. I misunderstood. Sorry.
I was thinking "code" as in it would do it during the install.
Starting nginx: nginx: [emerg] "location" directive is not allowed here in /usr/local/nginx/conf/staticfiles.conf:3
Line 3 happens to be
If so, why did I have to do it myself?!
YES, but it is not yet released. ;)
MariaDB 10.0.22 fixes an annoying issue I had with MariaDB, but I don't know why they didn't also update 10.1 alongside it. :banghead:

You may wish to add this a well in RC6

^ Both work so they're only warnings. Things for me to track down. lol
Thanks for that. :)
I wish I could ignore these though. It doesn't seem to like
I've attached the...
Successfully installed beta9. Thank you @eva2000 (y)
Moving onto upgrading to php 7 and noticed 2 small issues.
Going to proceed with "YES" and...
I've been using
curl -O https://centminmod.com/betainstaller.sh && chmod 0700 betainstaller.sh && bash betainstaller.sh
Ideally, I'll switch to...
Alright, so I was right to format and start fresh. lol I started so before you replied, as I wanted to try something while waiting..
So it is possible to continue even if Centmin Mod fails to install? I didn't know that. I've been formatting fresh each time (having that cPanel...
I attached the whole log directory above (see zip file). There was 13 log files so I figured it easier to just zip them all.
This time BOTH Nginx and PHP failed to install. This was using beta9 so I'll give the stable a try again.
Attached at the logs as I figure...
This is where things 1st go wrong. From this point on, everything that is dependent on php runs into issues (mostly that things are not found).
No Match for argument: *.i686
The general question was if there was a log generated by Centmin Mod? I kind of wanted to seek what went wrong so I could provide more info....
Well upgrading to beta9 didn't help either. Something is keeping php from installing.
edit: Should add I tried to reinstall using 8 stable,...
The "Post-Install Checklist" is a nice touch (see screenshot). :)
Though I'd like to have a log to review. I "think" (not with 100%...
Well this can't be good. PHP didn't install correctly.
Still going through the process....
To your credit, Cent Mod installs faster than cPanel. :) Of course the install went by so quick that I couldn't read anything. lol
So tempted to try 9 beta. I've been reading the changes and it has what I need in more ways than one, but always worried about stability.
Because the idea of unlimited basic free ssl certificates that actually do valide unlike self-signed certificates is appealing to me.
Happy New Year @eva2000
I'm brave. Using 10.1 and everything works fine.
Congratulations on 3 years of centmin
Hello. I've come here to learn what I can and apply it to my Debian or Ubuntu based servers. While a lot of people will praise CentOS, I have...
